 The Tracy Brown family are new to our church. Tracy runs the sound system when we need him. Mechelle sings in "New Reason." Maggie is a member of our youth. We are so pleased to have you with us.


1. When did you become a member of Temple Baptist Church? 
They all joined April 24, 2011

2. What is your favorite Bible verse?
Mechelle: Philippians 4:6-7
Maggie: Philippians 4:13
Tracy: John 3:16-17

3. If you did not have chores or work responsibilities to do, what would you do on a Saturday?
Mechelle: Spending time with family and singing
Maggie: go swimming with friends and family; go to the lake
Tracy: If we aren't singing at another church, piddeling on a vehicle or fishing for bass.

4. What is one thing you would like to the members of TBC to know about you?
Mechelle: That I love them all and am proud to be a part of their family.
Maggie: I am happy to be part of their family and I love them all.
Tracy: I think everybody knows me pretty well.

5. How can we pray for you?

Mechelle: Pray that my family would be dedicated to the Lord's work and that New Reason would be used in a great way.
Maggie: Pray that I grow to be a strong, confident child of God.
Tracy: that God will continue to bless my family and myself.

Members Monday

Members Monday is back! 

Today's family is The Axsom Family

Brayden, Sam, Brynton, and Keith

Sam does so many things in our church. She is our secretary, she sings, co-director of Vacation Bible School, and she turns the words and pages for the big screen during the service on Sundays. Keith runs the sound for our worship service. Brayden and Brynton hang out with their Mimi and Poppa during service when they are not in the nursery for children's church. We appreciate everything Keith and Sam do for us without them we could not run worship service so smoothly. Thank you for all you do. 
Let's get to know them a little better:

1. When did you become a member of Temple Baptist Church? 

Sam: I have been apart of this church my entire life. I was saved and baptized in 1994. I left for a short time when we first got married, but came back in 2005.

Keith: 2005

2. What is your favorite Bible verse?

Sam: Philippians 4:13

Keith: I don't have a particular favorite

3. If you did not have chores or work responsibilities to do, what would you do on a Saturday?

Sam: play with my kids, shop!

Keith: hunt, fish, work in garden

4. What is one thing you would like to the members of TBC to know about you?

Sam: I love each of you and am so glad to be a part of this family.

Keith: I love you all.

5. How can we pray for you?

Pray that we will be the Christian parents and example to our children that our parents have been for us.
